Haus der Musik brings you subtle wordplay, provocative costumes and an abundance of creativity from Netnakisum and a contrast between subtlety and pandemonium from Austrian band Garish. Two insider's tips - holders of Haus der Musik members' cards can get in for free.
Hips and brightly-coloured dirndls swing to the beat when Netnakisum take to the stage. Tradition flirts with the erotic as over-the-top variations on the theme of national costume poke fun at the conservative mentality that's still widespread in this country. Provocation is not their business or intention, however, and they use their outfits as a tool in their exploration of contrasts.
Netnakisum turn themselves and audience's preconceptions on their heads but it's not all about wordplay and an eye-catching stage set: the string quartet convinces with its professionalism and vivacity - in every imaginable variation on music from all over the world.
