Record at the Sound Museum - Haus der Musik welcomes 1 millionth visitor
On August 1, 2007, the 1 millionth visitor was welcomed at Haus der Musik. Wien Holding Director Peter Hanke and Haus der Musik Director Simon K. Posch congratulated the jubilee visitors - the Amann family from Götzis, Vorarlberg.
Since its opening in the year 2000, Haus der Musik has become one of the most popular museums in town, offering a unique exhibition on music and sound, which fascinates about 200 000 visitors from Austria and abroad every year.
On August 1, a "visitor jubilee" was celebrated: Wien Holding Director Peter Hanke and the Director of Haus der Musik, Simon K Posch, were able to welcome the 1 millionth visitor. The Amann family from Götzis, Vorarlberg was surprised with flowers and MemberCards as well as a musical gift package.
