Guided Tours
The concept behind HAUS DER MUSIK is to experience music with all of the senses, to actively participate, to discover and to play.
A tour through the Sound Museum is self-explanatory and can be completed without a guide. On the third floor (The Great Composers) you can obtain free audio guides in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. At the ticket counter you will find a floor plan (€ 0.50) which will give you a detailed overview of everything the Sound Museum has to offer.
For special occasions, we would be happy to organise guided tours through the host of experiences HAUS DER MUSIK holds in store.
Guided tours through the musical world of discovery of HAUS DER MUSIK and the VIENNA PHILHARMONIC MUSEUM can be booked by email at info@hdm.at or by fax 01/512 03 15. We will then directly book a professional tour guide for you and confirm your reservation. We only work with guides who have received training in our exhibitions.
The price of a tour guide comes to € 150,- incl. VAT. We recommend max. 25-30 persons per group and guide.
Your guided tour may last 1 - 2 hours, as per your preferences.
