Haus der Musik - the Sound Museum
Haus der Musik is an interactive sound museum which provides a new approach to music on a playful as well as scientific level. The aim is to provide knowledge and understanding, open-mindedness and enthusiasm when dealing with music.
Various interactive elements and installations invite visitors to unfold their own creativity. Music becomes audible and visible in real as well as virtual sound spaces: infotainment, edutainment and entertainment lead through the whole museum as a guiding theme and formal principle. Aesthetically and artiistically realised musical contents as well as an architecture, that combines historical building fabric with futuristic design and high-tech, bridged tradition and innovation.
