Chopin in Vienna
Special exhibition from 4 March to 30 April 2010
Three cities played an important role In Frédéric Chopin's life: Warsaw, Paris and Vienna. He grew up and received his musical training in Warsaw. He further developed his talents in Paris, where he also lived and died. And finally, he spent nine months in Vienna. On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth, Haus der Musik is presenting a special exhibition devoted to his time in Vienna.

Live on Stage January - April 2010: Scandinavian and Austrian musical art!
Every month of the year 2010 there will be Austrian and international artists performing at Haus der Musik.
The opening act of this year's Live on Stage program will be the Danish "Choir Of Young Believers", followed by the Viennese Band "Curbs" in February. "Nervous Nellie" from Sweden is going to be the perfect act to bid farewell the cold winter days. And in spring the Indie sound of the Viennese Band "Deckchair Orange" will encourage to dance and welcome the first shafts of sunshine.

Concert of the Mozart Boys Choir Vienna
